Speech & Language Development
At Elementary Academy, we nurture this exciting stage by creating a language-rich environment where every word, song, and story supports learning.
Our educators encourage children to express themselves, expand their vocabulary, and begin to form early sentence structures.
These meaningful interactions lay the foundation for confident communication, strong relationships, and a lifelong love of language.
Toileting
and Self-Help Skills
We understand that toileting and hygiene is a big milestone in a toddler’s development.
Our educators work closely with families to support each child’s readiness and routine. With patience and positive encouragement, children gain confidence and pride in their growing independence — whether learning to use the toilet, wash their hands, or feed themselves.
Toileting products such as nappies and wipes are inclusive.

Rest and Sleep
We provide a calm, comforting rest environment that respects each child’s individual sleep needs.
Cosy stretcher beds, soft music, and dimmed lighting help toddlers wind down and feel secure. Educators remain close by to ensure children feel comforted and safe as they rest.
We request families bring bedding and any special comforters to support your child's sense of belonging.
Meals and Nutrition
Our Chef sources only the best organic produce to prepare meals that not only taste good but support your little ones physical and cognitive development.
Mealtimes are relaxed and social, helping children practise self-feeding skills, table manners, and an appreciation for healthy foods.
Dietary needs and family preferences are always respected.
